An off-the-shelf stand is designed to fit as many devices as possible, and that is exactly why it fails: it fits everyone averagely and fits your device excellently never. Your phone with its case is thicker than the standard size, your headphones are back-heavy so they tilt, and your camera has an odd base with no stand made for it at all. The real answer is a stand designed around your device.

What does a device-specific stand mean?

When we design a custom stand, we start from three numbers: the device's dimensions with its case, its center of gravity, and the viewing angle that suits you. The base is calculated to balance the device's weight so it never tips forward no matter how you press the screen, and the cradle is designed with a calculated clearance so the device slides in and out easily without knocking.

On top of that come the details you never find off the shelf: an opening for the charging cable in the orientation you actually use, room for a fingerprint sensor or side button, a soft surface where it touches the device, or your name or company logo raised on the base.

What do we need from you?

• The exact device model: name and number, for example Galaxy S24 Ultra, not just Galaxy. Differences between generations are millimeters, and that is enough to ruin the fit.
• Do you use a case? And which type, because a thick case changes the size substantially.
• The orientation you need: portrait, landscape, or both.
• Where it will be used: desk, car, bedside table, or a filming setup. The location decides angle, weight, and material.
• A photo of the spot if possible: it helps us size and shape it to blend with the space.

You usually do not need to measure the device yourself, since common device dimensions are known. But for a rare or older device, we will ask for three simple ruler measurements.

Material and weight matter more than shape

A stand usually fails for two reasons: it tips, or it slides. Tipping is solved by base design and center of gravity; sliding is solved by material and weight.

For desk stands we use a rigid material that gives stability and clean detail. For car stands we choose a material that survives a parked car's heat, and that is a condition we do not compromise on in our climate. A flexible rubber-like base can be added at contact points to stop sliding and protect your desk surface from scratches.

Cost and time

A custom stand goes through two stages: design starting at SAR 100 depending on complexity and paid once, and printing based on the part's size and weight. Small desk stands are relatively light pieces, so printing cost is reasonable.

Turnaround is three to five days including design, preview, and printing. Before printing, you receive an interactive preview link to rotate the stand from every angle and confirm the angle and shape are what you want. And if you later order a second copy for the same device, we print it for the printing cost alone because your file is on record.
